A replica of Max Rockatansky’s Main Force Patrol Pursuit Special / “Interceptor” from the Mad Max / Mad Max II movies.

Yes, I know it’s a Ford Falcon XC Coupe, and not the correct XB Coupe, and yes, it lacks the Peter Arcadipane front-end and the stripped interior, but it has the correct Weiand supercharger housing, the black paint and the kick-up pipes, so who’s complaining? Search for “mundi mundi look out”, just up the road to the west from Silverton, for the location of the tanker crash / opening car-chase in Mad Max II.

Does anyone know anything more about this car?

What’s also cool is that this shopping center is in the flight path for Charlotte’s airport, and you can see this from flights coming into and out of Charlotte!
