Amazing Google Street View images from China
Take a look at the new images from Google Street View in China. As in India Google are not allowed to take images by car in the streets yet. All images are taken at special landmarks. This amazing place is Taierzhuang in Shandong.
This is Zhoucun Main Street, another tourist spot in the same Shandong region of China. Lantern Festival is celebrated here.
The Great Wall of China now on Google Photo Spheres
The Google Street View cars have not been allowed in China yet, but some new smartphones can create Photo Spheres in 360 degrees. And that’s now available from The Great Wall of China and many other places around China.

You can now see giant pandas on Google Street View at the Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding (Sichuan Province, China).
China get Street View thanks to Google competitor Baidu
The most popular search engine in China is Baidu. Now they have released a Street View of their own covering some interesting parts of China. They have named it Total View for some reason.
Imitating Google is what Baidu does best, so it looks very similar to Google Maps Street View. In any case, it offers stunning views. So far it covers Shenyang, Wuxi, and Fenghuang.

This is from a chinese street view service named City8. Previously we’ve only seen chinese street view images from Hong Kong. But apparently street view is now allowed in other parts of China (as long as it’s not by google).
