Germans no fans of google streetview
Some germans found a google streetview car in Berlin and decided to follow it with a camera. StreetView is not yet available in Germany. Protests have been loud by the germans. Google plan to release StreetView images later this year from Germany.
New cool features from Bing StreetSide maps

The story behind the danish bicycle accident
Earlier today we posted an image of a guy who fell of his bike in Denmark. It looked funny, but also dangerous since a car was driving by at the same time. Turns out he was trying to take a photo of the google car with his cell phone. When he fell of his bike, he didn’t get seriously hurt. He knew someone at google and could tell them what happened.

Wayne Coyne of The Flaming Lips on Google StreetView
A couple of days ago we posted an image of some guys taking a bath outdoors. It turns out it is Wayne Coyne of The Flaming Lips… This is one of surprisingly few celebrity sightings so far on StreetView.

Mapquest has a new streetview service
The largest map site in the US is called Mapquest. Today they finally got a streetview service. It’s called 360 View. Google StreetView have higher image quality and I think it will be tough for Mapquest to compete with Google.
Swedish Hitta.se has added 20 new cities
Hitta.se has realeased aprox. 20 new cities with streetview type images, all in Sweden. There are now 29 cities available.
New images from Canada, France and Italy
Along with Singapore came new StreetView images today from several new areas in Canada, France and Italy.
