Most likely, the Google Maps car hit the Nissan Opel because in the next step forward (the image below), it is a whole new line of cars. Maybe it was taken another day. All three images were taken in September 2011 though. Google didn’t want to show us the damage?
Mistake: The grey car is an Opel Astra, Not a Nissan
The car did not pull out, it was reversing in, thats why you can see that its reversing lights are illuminated.
There was no crash, the mish mash is just the images stitched together.
That makes sense, but it doesn’t explain why the image in the next step is not taken the same day.
